Troubleshooting
A few quick things to check when something does not look right.
Sync returned no words
Check that the audio contains the same spoken or sung words as the source text and that the text is not empty.
Most captions feel early or late
Try a small Start Offset first. Use End Offset if captions stay on screen for too long or disappear too soon.
One caption is off
Open Edit captions and change the Start or End time for that caption instead of changing the global offsets.
One highlighted word is off
Open Edit word timing for that caption and adjust only that word. Use Highlight Start and End Offset when the same problem affects most words.
Playback stops after the project has been open for a long time
Reload the project to refresh access to the stored audio, then continue editing.
The exported file does not show word highlighting
Check that Highlight active word is turned on. Use ASS for exact highlight start and end timing. SRT and standard LRC do not keep individual word highlighting.
